The Havre de Grace boys volleyball team moved one step closer Wednesday night in its quest for a perfect season, beating the Bobcats in three straight games in Bel Air for a match victory. C. Milton Wright also won in other boys volleyball action Wednesday.
Havre de Grace won by scores of 25-18, 25-16 and 25-16.
David Beck was Havre de Grace's big gun, putting up 17 kills, eight aces, six digs, two blocks and one assist. Tyler Cook had 23 assists, a team-high, to go with two kills, one ace and one dig. Tony Cofrancesco had four kills, three aces and led the Warriors with 11 digs. Steve Ashman posted nine digs, one kill and a team-best two blocks, while Sebastian Pruitt had two digs, one kill and one block in the win.
C. MILTON WRIGHT beats HARFORD TECH
The C. Milton Wright boys won at home, knocking off the visiting Harford Tech Cobras in three straight games.
The Mustangs won by scores of 25-20, 25-19 and 26-24.
CMW's Chris Panzeri had 13 kills, nine service points, three blocks, two aces, two assists, three digs and seven perfect passes. Ryan Walsh posted 11 kills, four blocks, eight assists, 14 perfect passes, two digs and three service points, while teammate John Grotke helped out with five kills, six service points, nine perfect passes, five digs and one block.
