Boys soccer: Havre de Grace to play for UCBAC title

The Havre de Grace Warriors finished off a perfect UCBAC Susquehanna Division season Tuesday night, blanking host Edgewood 2-0.

The win improved the Warriors to 7-0 and a gained them a spot in next week's UCBAC Championship. The Warriors, 8-4 overall, will meet C. Milton Wright, champions of the Chesapeake (upper) Division, at Bel Air High School, Tuesday at 7 p.m.

In the win over Edgewood (2-4-1, 2-8-1), Connor Haffey scored the Warriors first half goal, assisted by Gabe Larrimore. A second half goal was scored by Austin Sylvester with an assist by Bobby Smith. Warriors goalie James Antonoplos had four saves.

HUSKIES knock off MUSTANGS

Celebrating senior night, Patterson Mill (3-3, 6-4) put a nick in C. Milton Wright's (5-1, 7-5) unbeaten Chesapeake record, shutting out the Mustangs, 2-0.

Kyle Walczak led the Huskies with two goals, while Tyler Moen and Aaron Child each assisted on one. Goalie Brady Morton made seven saves for the win.

"This was our senior night and I'd like to thank each one of them for their years of hard work and dedication to building up this program," Huskies coach Wes Rich said. "They are one of the best groups of young men a coach could ask for."

HAWKS nip EAGLES

Visiting North Harford (2-4, 6-4-2) got a goal in each half to slide past Aberdeen (2-4, 6-6) 2-1 in Chesapeake action Tuesday afternoon. Alec Mouring tallied a goal with assist from Kyle Six and Ryan Latgis added a unassisted tally. Tyler Green scored Aberdeen's one goal.
