Around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, the body of Thomas Patrick Sweeney was found in a wooded area in the 300 block of Fallston Boulevard, according to Monica Worrell, public information officer with the Harford County Sheriff's Office.

Mr. Sweeney, 49, lived in the 900 block of Sidehill Drive, Worrell said, in a neighborhood of large single family homes in the Cedarday area southeast of Bel Air.

His body was found along a truck ramp between Plaza Ford and Walmart, according to Worrell, some six to seven miles from his home.

Patrol deputies and the medical examiner's office responded to the scene.

The area where the body was found is in the midst of a heavily traveled commercial area along Route 1 between Bel Air and the Baltimore County line.

Worrell said Thursday that Mr. Sweeney's death is not considered suspicious.

The medical examiner was waiting for a toxicology report to make a final ruling on cause of death, she added.
