Body found in burning car in Osceola County

Osceola County firefighters found a person's body in a burning vehicle near St. Cloud Wednesday night.

"Detectives are working the incident as a suspicious death," sheriff's spokeswoman Twis Lizasuain said.


Deputies did not identify the person.

Osceola County firefighters got a call about a burning vehicle at near 5200 Canoe Creek Rd., Lizasuain said. They put out the fire, then saw the person's body.


Deputies did not release any other information about the case.

This is the second time this year that a person's body was found in a burning car in Osceola County: On Aug. 21, St. Cloud police found Rene Tirado Jr., 32 of Kissimmee, in a burning silver BMW. Two men were later arrested in his death: Jorge Molina Olivo, 46, and Annasto Bryan, 31.

Olivo remains in the Osceola County Jail. Bryan, who was arrested in Canada, has not been extradited. or 407-420-5774
