Kate Santich covers social issues at the Orlando Sentinel, including child welfare, homelessness, social entrepreneurship and volunteerism. Her work also has appeared in The Sacramento Bee and the San Francisco Chronicle. Kate is a graduate of Cal Berkeley and a California native. She spends most of her free time on a bicycle.
Michael Owen, the muralist behind the Baltimore Love Project, brings his work to his former hometown, across the street from Pulse nightclub. The wall will have 49 orange blossoms, one for each of the innocent lives lost.
