Star Wars Weekends begins this Friday at Disney's Hollywood Studios, and for those addicted to the high-priced, yet awesome, toys available, this year's top offering is the ability to create a Stormtrooper with your own likeness.

It's part of the D-Tech Me experience, which is similar to the frozen-in-carbobnite toy that was introduced in 2012, and is available again this year.

Building the toy is a 10-minute experience that can be found at Darth's Mall, which has a slew of Star Wars merchandise and is located in the courtyard near the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster.

A 3D face scanner captures your image and your likeness is casted onto a Stormtrooper figurine. You don't get it that day. It's shipped to you within 7-8 weeks, so you won't be able to insert yourself into the Star Wars universe until mid-July at the earliest.

The price for either of these is $99.95 plus shipping and sales tax, but you get a Carbon-Freeze Me light-up band if you go with that toy, or a collector button if you go with the Stormtrooper.

It's not just for adults of course, but you do need to be at least 3 years old.

Don't expect to walk up though. Call ahead and book your time at 407-WDW-TECH (407-939-8324). It's only offered during Star Wars Weekends, which run May 17-19, May 24-26, May 31-June 2 and June 7-9.

Other merchandise available is the build-your-own R2 unit station, which has recently branched out to Downtown Disney in addition to Hollywood Studios. Those are a more reasonable price: $12.95 for one, or two for $19.95. And of course, you can always build your own lightsaber.
