Orange County deputies say a body found Friday evening near Mall at Millenia was that of a man who had been killed after a drug dispute several days earlier.

Aaron Howard, 31, got into an argument with Omar Shaw, 20, on May 10 about narcotics the two had stolen from drug dealers in Orlando's Pine Hills area.

Shaw, reportedly upset about how the drugs would be split between the two, shot Howard as Howard sat in his car at a Wal-Mart on West Colonial Drive. Shaw drove Howard's car and dumped the man's body in a canal behind Mall at Millenia, then set the vehicle afire near Guinyard Way and Riley Avenue.

Shaw was arrested Friday, and Howard's body was found Friday afternoon. Shaw has been booked on a first-degree murder charge at the Orange County Jail and currently has no bond.

Information leading to Shaw's arrest came from confidential sources and surveillance equipment, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Office.
