Lesson for Baltimore police: pay heed to social media

It is pathetically lamentable day when so few addle-headed youth can turn a city upside down. The Baltimore that the nation (and world) is seeing is not the real Baltimore.

Lesson learned by Baltimore City Police: Never underestimate the power of social media in these times. It can be a powerful tool, even when used in a negative, destructive way.

It sadly brings to mind the riots in Baltimore 47 years ago, something I personally thought I would never see again in my lifetime.

The city will certainly recover in due time, but currently it has been brought to its knees. It is frighteningly just like what happened in the spring of 1968. These are truly inexplicable, scary times.
