Media lies about 'ban'

Reporting of Trump's immigration action is overblown and misleading

The headline and the very first paragraph of The Sun's front page article, "Ban sparks an uproar," (Jan. 29), claimed President Donald Trump's immigration executive order "...galvaniz[ed] anguished questions about core American values." Yet no core values were identified or even mentioned anywhere in the article.

Additionally, the article claimed as fact that the order "...ensnared people from all walks of life who were caught in transit or expecting to soon return to the U.S..." Yet the basis for this so-called factual assertion was solely an allegation by the policy director for the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee. What was it that President Trump said about fake news and media lies?
