Having just read in the Baltimore Sun and heard on CNN that Dr. Ben Carson has officially declared himself a presidential candidate, we have just two questions: Where was Dr. Carson last week during the events in Baltimore following the death of Freddie Gray? Why was there silence from this internationally renowned neurosurgeon and former Baltimore resident who seeks the leadership of this country? Perhaps, like Sen. Rand Paul, Dr. Carson was glad his "train" did not stop in Baltimore!
