Regarding your article "Mandatory union fees appealed to high court" (Feb. 2), conservatives constantly rail against freeloaders who expect benefits but are willing to do nothing to earn them.
But would they allow freeloaders to use the country club yet refuse to pay their dues? The case before the Supreme Court is so obviously a case of double standards and union-busting that it's embarrassing.
