Under Armour should be proud to say 'Made in the USA'

I wholeheartedly agree with columnist Dan Rodricks' plea for Under Armour to manufacture its products in the U.S. ("For Under Armour, why not 'UA Made in the USA'?" March 21).

As the daughter of a father who spent his entire career in the clothing manufacturing business, it would be wonderful to see some of these jobs return to Maryland.

My father worked for 20 years at what was once the Dan-Mar Manufacturing Company Inc. Since the company closed here and went overseas in 2006, finding steady work as been a problem for him.

Kevin Plank's marketing money would be very well spent in job creation here. In today's economy that is a marketing tool in itself.
