Columnist Dan Rodricks ("Port Covington and the 'two Baltimores,'" Sept. 11) has provided continued food for thought.
I, too, believe that Kevin Plank is well rooted in Baltimore and has done everything to accommodate the many factions who want their voices heard in regard to his proposed Port Covington development. But even the most well-rooted plant can succumb when too much water is applied. I certainly hope that won't happen with Sagamore Development as city leaders continue to try and put roadblocks in the way of what certainly is the biggest project ever to benefit Baltimore.
Sagamore Development, at the direction of Kevin Plank, has done so much for Baltimore including in a big way efforts to improve the quality of the life of our children.
I am a native Baltimorean who lives in the city and has worked more than 50 years here. Even I can recognize a visionary and a good deal that we should be embracing with both arms.
