Spare us a Twitter-elected president

Politicians need to study Kim Kardashian for campaign strategies ("Twitter winner takes all," Feb. 18)? You must be joking! If every presidential candidate must "Kardashianize" themselves to win the White House, I'm staying home on Election Day 2016!

I've nothing against Kim Kardashian, but I'm not one of her 28.6 million Twitter followers. My life is busy, and I've more important things to do. However, from the tsunami of publicity this woman receives, I'm awed by her "assets." Most politicians aren't so generously endowed.

If winning an election means "Win Twitter," something is wrong with America. Commentary writer Eddie Zipperer is a playwright and I wish he'd stick to his craft. I really don't want a hashtag of #Commander-in-Chief!
