Airport security can't be left to the unions

After 9/11, when the federal government decided to take over security at airports, most Americans in the private sector knew it was a bad idea ("As fliers wait in security lines, gov't asks for patience," May 14).

We all know that when government hires employees most of those employees know that they will not be held accountable for their performance because of their union.
