Trump is the worst choice

Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump traded insults at an annual Catholic charity dinner in New York City. Oct. 21, 2016. (CBS Miami)

I find the letter from Wendy Sevier to be somewhat myopic ("Trump supporters fed up with status quo," Oct. 19). I well understand that there are people in the country who are hurting and have legitimate grievances. Admittedly, both candidates are flawed.

Yet Donald Trump is the more seriously flawed of the two candidates. A vote for Mr. Trump is a vote for an unstable, infantile narcissist who would not know the truth if it bit him on the elbow. He has no political philosophy other than whatever is best for Donald Trump. I put him in the same class as any other demagogues such as Joe McCarthy, Idi Amin or Saddam Hussein. I would greatly fear a Trump presidency.

On the other hand, we already know what a Hillary Clinton presidency would look like. As I recall, all things considered, the country did pretty well during the last Clinton administration.
