KKK cartoon offensive

Sun Sentinel Columnist Daniel Vasquez says Donald Trump made no mistake not disavowing and then later disavowing David Duke and the KKK. It's all strategy.

As important as it is for us to come together to begin the long road to reuniting the diverse people of this nation, The Sun has chosen to divide people by ideology. Even in the comics section, the Sun has decided to take the low road when it comes to unity.

In a recent edition, the comic strip Non Sequitur displayed a person wearing a KKK outfit with the wording, "I'm with Trump," inscribed on the gown. Apparently, the Sun editors found it humorous to label anyone who disagrees with its pro-Hillary Clinton bias as a KKK supporter. Calling people with whom you disagree names is not the way to promote an open and honest dialogue. The Sun ought to be ashamed.
