Regarding letter writer Edward C. Davenport's challenge to prove that Donald Trump a racist ("Trump a racist? Prove it June 10:
"Racism" is a noun and is defined as follows: "A belief or doctrine that inherent differences among the various racial groups determines cultural or individual achievement."
This definition of racism is exactly the argument Mr. Trump made against the judge in the case against Trump University.
Employing racism as a tactic and believing it proves Mr. Trump is a racist. No definition of racist or racism speaks to "locking ones doors at night," as reader Davenport writes.
