Can Barbara Bush mend the GOP?

Could Barbara Bush scold the nominee and then get behind him?

I am utterly opposed to the way Donald Trump treated Jeb Bush when he was in the campaign, and I certainly understand why the former governor and his family are stating they will not participate in the Republican National Convention in July. I hope amends can be made to heal some of the wounds created ("The Republican establishment's tardy revolt," May 9).

I would like for Barbara Bush give Mr. Trump a good tongue lashing and then talk to her family to try to come together to help unite the Republican Party. After all, Mrs. Bush did say the country doesn't need another Bush or Clinton in the White House. We certainly need these factions to come together, as this is the only way we will be able to defeat Hillary Clinton.
