Apparently, The Sun's affection for President Barack Obama is so blindingly deep that it believes anyone — but especially Donald Trump — who says an unkind thing about him is guilty of treason.
How else to explain the Sun's editorial, "The fear campaign" (June 16), wherein it condemns Mr. Trump for "his treasonous implication that the commander-in-chief is acting in league with ISIS or some other terrorist group."
I suggest the Sun's editorial board take a deep breath, recover from its swoon and recognize that this is, after all, Donald Trump speaking.
