Maglev may be in our future, but right now we need better bus transportation in Baltimore as James W. Rouse pointed out in his recent commentary ("Freddie Gray gives us an opportunity to correct past mistakes," May 12).
Fifteen minutes from Washington sounds great, but how about today's 30 and 40 minute waits and the bus "no shows" ("Hogan says state will seek grant to study maglev," June 5)? Now is the time to fund improvements of our present mass transportation system.
