John Berry made a good case in Monday's Sun for the reasons corporations want TPP, such as more jobs in Maryland ("TPP means more jobs for Md.," June 19). However, he did not mention any of the bad things that TPP would permit, such as giant oil companies suing Maryland for potential profits lost because of our state ban on fracking in a special court ruled by corporate lawyers as judges, not a regular U.S. court.
I hope you will now publish a response from someone who recognizes the dangers of the TPP such as Sens. Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders, or Ralph Nader.
