White Sox fans vow to return

My wife, son and I spent the last several days in Baltimore planning on attending a couple of games between your Orioles and our White Sox ("Thoughts and observations from a bizarre day at Camden Yards," April 30). We had been to Baltimore before and enjoying the warmth and hospitality of your people.

Needless to say, we were disappointed we could not see the games but more importantly, we felt and good deal of sadness for the events that have occurred in your beautiful city. In spite of all the problems, your people treated visitors from Chicago with grace and politeness which is a hallmark of your community. We pray that Baltimore will recover from this situation and justice and harmony will prevail because Baltimore is too important to this country to fail.
