While The Baltimore Sun's editorial, "What price for lower tolls?" (May 8), says "we look like suckers" for Gov. Larry Hogan's bold move to reduce tolls, I say pass me another lollipop.
After punishing increases in the Maryland tolls that have affected motorists and businesses in the Baltimore region, drivers want relief, not debate. The hope of putting toll and tax money back into the pockets of Maryland residents was an applauded promise that delivered change to Annapolis last year.
Maryland drivers are smiling thanks to Governor Hogan's leadership. Elections matter, and we are seeing "Change Maryland" as promised!
