New thinking in war on terror

Thank you for publishing Eve Bruce's commentary on America's failed war on terror ("America's failed war on terror," it is evident that "we the people" have been had by the fear mongers and those who are benefiting from unending war. Now is the time to stop and think. Is the world any better off since we started bombing and shooting the enemies? Yes, we have to protect and keep our country safe but we need a new approach.

Albert Einstein had many useful quotes for such a situation. "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results" and "we can not solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them." And this one: "Peace cannot be kept by force, it can only be achieved by understanding."
