Regarding Dan Rodricks' comments on Tim Tebow and Tom Brady, what world does he live in? ("Is anybody listening?" Jan. 18.) Today when the youth of our country truly need a role model to emulate, Mr. Rodricks writes that sex defeated piety and won over virtue during the NFL playoffs this past weekend.
When more and more children are born out of wedlock, never having a father as a role model, when we "the people" are expected to provide for their children all the while knowing that "hooking up" is the lifestyle of most of our youth today, isn't it time we embraced someone like Tim Tebow, who is truly the kind of man the youth of today should strive to be?
Tom Brady may be the football hero, but the real man is Tim Tebow.
