Szeliga is one to talk about road safety

Republican Del. Kathy Szeliga's attempt to promote highway safety in her op-ed lacks transparency regarding her voting record regarding highway safety ("Szeliga: state 'Road Kill Bill' reveals Dems' arrogance," Feb. 8).

In the General Assembly sessions of 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014, Delegate Szeliga voted against the passage of the capital budgets that improved Maryland roads and safety.

In the 2015 segislative session, Delegate Szelegia voted in favor of Senate Bill 44, which increased speed limits on certain Maryland highways, which could compromise road safety.
