I'm for the stormwater management fee if it is paid by all ("End 'rain tax' ridicule rap, repeal and replace law," Feb. 28). It is ridiculous to tie it some counties and not all. In the state of current dynamics, just about all contribute to the problems, and just about all will benefit from the corrections. Of course, lest we forget the big bad contributor, our state government, enforces the logic of an across the board fee.
Howard County collects a significant fee based on limited and questionable conditions. There are ways to challenge the fee, but most will not because of the complications and the government deaf ear.
Maybe a better solutions is to keep those who do not pay the fee out of the counties that do pay the fee!
