Rawlings-Blake's pregnancy center bill was right on

Laura Vozzella's blog item, "Weird abortion bill earns Rawlings-Blake Emily's List endorsement" (June 13) is incredibly offensive. In case you haven't noticed, there is an assault on women occurring in this Congress and across the country. Every single day crisis pregnancy centers deceive women about the services they provide and then give them false and dangerous information about pregnancies and their health.

Maybe a Congressional report would help convince you?

There is an absolute need for honesty and transparency in the practices of crisis pregnancy centers — and maybe a sign is the answer. I can't think of any other instance when perfect information is a bad thing. To compare a woman's visit to a crisis pregnancy center to going to a Mexican restaurant is incredibly crude and in poor-taste. I would suggest Ms. Vozzella show the courtesy of educating herself about these issues, or maybe she should just stick to writing about food.
