It looks like Baltimore City Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake is out to lunch. She just doesn't get it. While Baltimore was burning she was uttering a bunch of nonsense ("Rawlings-Blake gets defensive," May 13).
It seems as if platitudes are her forte. One has to wonder how she ever elected mayor of historic Baltimore — who voted for her?
If Ms. Rawlings-Blake had any self-respect she would assume part of the responsibility for what happened to her city. Having failed the city, she should resign forthwith.
