Before you anoint Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake to a new four-year term, there is still a general election eight weeks from now.
Politics is nothing but a numbers game, and Ms. Rawlings-Blake only got 52 percent of the Democratic vote. Forty-eight percent indicated they preferred someone else.
A low voter turnout like we just experienced and a strong Republican turnout could be trouble if her 52 percent take the general election for granted.
Your paper continues to show favoritism by not even acknowledging a challenger in the general. If I am not mistaken, some council members also have challengers.
I know it is hard, but how about fair reporting once in awhile?
