Ban government workers from social networks

Just when I thought government workers had wised up about social media, along comes your story proving they're as dumb as the rest of us ("Federal Hill company patrols social networks to find spies," Jan. 6). After the Sony hacking debacle, one might have thought Defense Department personnel would eschew social media altogether.

I'm aware of what's displayed on Facebook and believe way too much is being shared. It's disgraceful State Department workers are posting their cat videos and other junk on line. Now state needs a bunch of guys in Baltimore to keep these fools safe. So much for national security.
