I am a senior citizen. My husband is a senior citizen. Ninety-five percent of our friends are senior citizens. We go out to eat, we see a movie occasionally, we bowl duck pins or ten pins. We travel by plane or on a tour bus and go on cruises.
The average taxpayer has to sit back and watch the government waste money. The senior citizens who have any money saved have practiced common sense through the years — and we've paid into Social Security with every paycheck we ever received.
The worst action that our federal government can do is to cause senior citizens to stay at home. If they mess with my Social Security, my husband and I will stay home and just listen to the news regarding how bad the economy is.
