The president and his cronies treat the American public like morons and we deserve it for not requiring an answer to the question of what to do about Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security ("Obama eyes middle ground," April 14). No political spin, no campaign rhetoric, no BS about elimination of waste — just a straight answer to what are we going to do about the cost of these programs.
