While reading your well-written and well-researched article, "Shoot to Kill" (Oct. 2), I was astounded by one simple omission. Where is Black Lives Matter?
Where are Al Sharpton and his ilk? They only seem to get involved when there's racial overtones to pursue, otherwise their concern for black lives appears to be nothing but talk. Only the black community can end this scourge.
The clock is ticking but where is their leadership? Everyone is waiting for action and accountability.
