Schurick coverage shows Sun's bias

In the December 7 edition, the Sun staff wasted no time in publishing disparaging material regarding the conviction of Paul Schurick, the former campaign manager to Republican Gov. Robert L. Ehrlich Jr. It included a front page headline and article ("Schurick convicted"), a Dan Rodricks column just below it ("Drawing the line in cutthroat business of politics") and an editorial ("No mere faux pas").

All this was in contrast to a page 2 article pertaining to the sentencing of former Prince George's County Executive Jack Johnson, a Democrat ("Ex-official get 7-year term"). Does anyone doubt that The Sun is deeply entrenched in the back pockets of the Democrats? So deep, I would say, that they will likely never emerge.
