Dels. Maggie McIntosh and Shelly Hettleman's commentary ("Help Baltimore now, Gov," May 14) fails to speak to the education funding allocation of the five Maryland casinos. They've reached the $1 billion mark in revenue and National Harbor will top that amount, no doubt.
Where are the articles talking about how the casino profit transfers are being used to help education in Maryland ("Maryland casino revenues reach $91 million," April 6). The state didn't cut the education funding, only the increase in funding. Seems to me the casinos were suppose to assist the state in that area — but no one's writing about that!
