Hot under the collar

When it comes to the safety of children as well as providing them with an environment that is conducive to learning, lowering the debate to a political level is inappropriate ("Baltimore County parents hot over lack of air conditioning in schools," Sept. 8).

Until Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamenetz and Superintendent Dallas Dance address the lack of air conditioning in some schools, they should not have air conditioning in their offices either.

The let's see how quickly all the roadblocks and hemming and hawing are cleared away.
