Private school is a choice. Public school is available to all, it is funded by the public and teaches the largest population of students. How can a public official consider giving one penny to a private school when numerous public school facilities are dilapidated, unsafe and outdated ("Session goes to wire with budget issues, Hogan agenda in doubt," April 11)?
Gov. Larry Hogan, please visit some private schools then tour a few of these public schools in need of basic renovations that have been overlooked due to a "lack of funds."
Seeing is believing.
