Don't ignore Sanders' big win

Is The Baltimore Sun a newspaper? I ask because of your complete failure to report Sen. Bernie Sanders' remarkable victory in Indiana on Tuesday ("How Bernie Sanders beat the polls and won Indiana," May 3).

The paper devoted appropriate space to Donald Trump's victory in the GOP primary but reported on the Democratic race as though it were still in progress and no results had been declared. The following day there was a long report on the upcoming California primary, emphasizing the Sanders campaign's financial problems, but ignored Tuesday's election entirely except for a passing statement.

For the record, despite being seven points behind Hillary Clinton in the opinion polls, Senator Sanders won the actual election 53-to-47 percent.
