Baltimore's lost can be found

I'm an elderly resident of Lancaster County, Pa., and I took the wrong exit off of Interstate 95 for an appointment at Johns Hopkins. I was totally lost without a GPS. I stopped at a Volkswagen dealer to ask for directions. Two very friendly sales people immediately offered to help by printing out MapQuest directions to get me back on track.

Following MapQuest, I again got off the wrong exit and immediately stopped at a convenience store for help. There, a customer in the store said to meet him outside. He gave me directions but on second thought, he told me to follow him and he would guide me to Hopkins. After following his car for over 20 minutes through a myriad of side streets in downtown Baltimore, the gentleman got out of his car at a stop sign and pointed to Johns Hopkins.

Thanks to these Baltimore Good Samaritans, I was on time for my appointment. I hope and pray that the two Volkswagen sales people, and the gentleman in the black Lincoln Continental read this so that I can express a heart-felt thank-you one more time. Yes, kindness is still alive and well in Baltimore.
