Why in the world can't you print the list of top 25 women’s college basketball teams? Maryland is now ranked on the top of the Big Ten, according to a headline about Monday's game against Illinois, but never can a reader see the entire list in your paper (“No. 10 Maryland women beat Illinois, 80-66, gain tie for first in Big Ten,” Feb. 4). It certainly wouldn't take up that many column inches.
Do we need a Title IX rule for sports writers and editors? There is no excuse for this blatant discrimination.
