Kudos to the Baltimore County Department of Health for a well organized COVID-19 vaccination program at the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium (”Maryland reports 2,167 new coronavirus cases, 38 more deaths,” Jan. 20).

I made an appointment for my 91-year-old mother online. When I first saw what seemed like a thousand of cars on the parking lot, I thought we would have to spend hours to get her vaccinated. I was very pleasantly surprised at how well organized and efficiently the process was set up.

It took us 30 minutes from beginning to end. Great job!
