If UMMS inquiry is a 'witch hunt,' give us more witch hunts

Woody Guthrie famously warned that “You’ll meet lot’s of funny men. Some will rob you with a six gun, some with a fountain pen.” In Baltimore, men brandish six guns on the street but it’s our mayors who wield the fountain pens at City Hall. I’m sure Mayor Catherine Pugh is right that her “Health Holly” deal with UMMS was legal (“Baltimore Mayor Pugh says she paid taxes on book sales, calls inquiries a 'witch hunt',” March 21). I’m equally sure that it was wrong. Too bad she can’t tell the difference.

Thanks to The Sun for bringing it to light. If it’s this kind of unethical behavior that a “witch hunt” reveals, please keep hunting witches.
