President Donald Trump (“Trump vows urgent action," Aug. 5) once again shows his racism. He believes that if a white person commits a heinous gun massacre, it is an example of mental illness, but if an immigrant, a citizen of color of whatever background, commits such a crime, it is an example of terrorism.

In addition to feelings toward the victims and their families, all of our “thoughts and prayers” should be directed at defeating this narcissistic maniac in 2020!
