Trump may be bad, but he isn't Hitler

When it comes in the form of an obnoxious dope, I suppose tyranny is easy to spot ("'Tyranny does not arrive in one fell swoop,'" Sept. 3). When, however, it is packaged as a smooth, polished communicator, it is still tyranny.

President Barack Obama's agenda was pushed forward through executive orders, many of which are still in litigation. The thing is, the democracy St. Mary's College of Maryland Professor Christine Adams mourns selected the obnoxious dope Donald Trump because the country was tired of President Obama, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Rep. Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer. The democracy was afraid of Sens. Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders.

When it is time again, the democracy, like a pendulum, will swing back the other direction. The Adolf Hitler comparison is unnecessary and stupidly inflammatory.
