Impeachment circus
Impeachment circus (Scott Stantis)

Chuck Campbell’s condemnation of the current impeachment of Donald Trump by Democratic “clowns” in Congress causes one to ponder the criteria needed to place some folk in the clown category (“Trump’s impeachment process is a circus,” Jan. 15).

President Trump over the years in his many musings has stated that windmills cause cancer and that he would like to buy Greenland. Puerto Rico “is an island surrounded by water. Big water. Ocean water,” he’s said. Mr. Trump, certainly not one to shy away from remarks on physical appearance, also aid that, “The worst thing a man can do is go bald. Never let yourself go bald.” And during last year’s Independence Day speech at the Lincoln Memorial, he said this concerning the Revolutionary War: “Our army manned the air, it rammed the ramparts, it took over airports.”

Now, I ask you honestly, Mr Campbell, who’s the clown?
