New state song: ‘Highway to Hell’ | READER COMMENTARY

Rockers AC/DC perform their hit, "Highway to Hell," as they were inducted into the Class of 2003 during the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's 18th annual induction dinner at the Waldorf-Astoria in New York, New York. (Richard Corkery/New York Daily News).

With the current climate, both socially, and politically, not only in Maryland, but nationwide, I would like to nominate “Highway to Hell” as our new state song (“General Assembly votes to scrap ‘Maryland, My Maryland,’ state’s pro-Confederate official state song,” March 20). I believe it would be entirely apropos.
