If you change the words "GOP tax plan" to "Democrats’ health care plan," the first paragraph and last two sentences of your commentary, “GOP tax plan: worst bill ever? (Dec. 22) could have been written by a conservative in 2010.
Just as the conservatives had some things right and some wrong , so do you. I could go into more detail, but as the law is about 1,000 pages, it will take a while to figure out who the winners and losers are.
But, basically business owners will do well (and be more competitive), most of us will save a buck or two, and high-paid, salaried employees will pay much more. (The reduction of state and property tax deduction will whack them and not be offset by lower tax rate.)
