Perhaps The Sun should run the post office | READER COMMENTARY
For The Baltimore Sun|

Nobody asked me either, Dan Rodricks, but I, also, have had Christmas cards delivered in January, as well as being notified by companies that they did not receive my December payments (”A pile of reasons why your December mail stacked up at the post office,” Feb. 2). As of today, the Dundalk post office has not delivered three days of mail to me as identified on my Informed Delivery app.
I also agree with The Sun’s columnist that, along with the removal of Betsy DeVos from the U.S. Department of Education, Postmaster General Louis DeJoy should be removed from the U.S. Postal Service. Being one of those seniors who does not put my whole life online and pays bills through the mail, I was always told if you have a problem and you are going to find fault with something, you should also offer a solution.
Well, here is my solution: I nominate my Baltimore Sun paper deliverer for the head of USPS or head of the Dundalk Post Office or as a letter carrier for that office! Why? Because, whether it is raining or sleeting or snowing, my paper arrives, in the dark, every morning!
Gee, isn’t there a poem like that for the post office? Nobody asked me, Mr. Rodricks, but I, too, just had to offer my opinion.
